Mobile Food Stand

The Mobile Food Stand for Speisen ohne Grenzen has been on the road in Vienna since 2019. It serves as a summer kitchen, shop or reception counter on the Donaukanal, Yppenplatz or the Badeschiff.
The Stand consists of screen printing panels that are plugged together and lashed with straps. Two versions have been developed. One with a sunshade, the other has a structure made of plug-in shelves.
At Speisen ohne Grenzen, refugees cook traditional dishes from their countries of origin, for example from Afghanistan, Syria, Uganda and Somalia. Once a week, we in the office get our lunch delivered from there. Mmmmh!
