As a large, freely playable area, the new square is intended to offer a range of different uses throughout the year. The existing paving will be reused and re-laid in the specially developed circular structure. The central element is the rosette as a continuous design element and connection to vegetation and architecture. It is inserted into the paving with light-coloured paving stones and incorporated in the form of recesses in the walls of the pavilion. This creates the impression of a kind of carpet - a high-quality lounge area that no longer bears any resemblance to a car park and also creates an unmistakable link with recognition value to the town of Pöllauberg.
