On a flat hillside plot with adjacent vineyards, this house presents itself restrained to the street. While the low timber construction on the entrance level includes the sleeping areas, the living area is embedded in a concrete shell in the slope. Because of a distance and the interaction between these two components openings are formed at specific points. Thus, the view of Lake Constance can be enjoyed from almost all areas of the residence.
