The 100-year-old schoolhouse has been completely renovated and becomes the central element of the new ensemble. Flanked by the two flat new buildings for kindergarten on the one hand and elementary school expansion with sports hall to the other there evolves a, for all usable, protected outdoor area around the old lime tree in the south. The OSB formwork gives the ocher-colored exposed-concrete façade its lively structure. In the interior, the untreated silver fir dominates.
The sports hall opens to the upstream playground and can be overlooked from the spacious auditorium. The two-storey kindergarten adapts the form of the slope. From the playfully designed aisle area, well-positioned views of the surrounding landscape through the different windows are also created for children.
