The type of the residential house is based on a Roman atrium house. Due to the inwardly sloping roof surfaces, the water is collected centrally in a cistern and used as service water. The building opens up generously to the inside, while individual openings are deliberately placed on the outside.
The house is elevated and connected to the terrain by screw foundations, which means that on the one hand no ground surface is sealed, and on the other hand there is no need to change the terrain at all. Straw insulation ensures a pleasant living climate and reinforces the overall sustainable concept. The photovoltaic system on the roof provides the necessary electricity for the building. The residential house and the organic farm function completely self-sufficiently.
